Stephanie is a second-generation expert in hardwood flooring, installing hardwood floors in a family business since 1998. Based in Broomfield, Colorado, she serves Denver, Boulder and surrounding areas.
A genuine, traditional hardwood floor can be the difference that makes a house into a home. Let Stephanie replace your worn out carpet or thin, cheap laminate with a floor that's built to last. Whether it's a remodeling home improvement project or a new construction, hardwood floors can make your rooms warm, welcoming, and polished to impress.
Do you enjoy your hardwood floor so much you want to match it in another room? Stephanie can install the same wood in the same style, then sand and refinish both floors so even you won't know the difference.
Before and After:
The new living room floor perfectly blends with the existing floor.
A fine hardwood floor can last for many years, but over time, heavy traffic naturally wears down the surface, introducing scratches, cracks, scuffs and stains. When this happens, a genuine hardwood floor can be sanded and refinished to restore the smooth surface and lustrous glow of a freshly installed floor. With proper cleaning and maintenance, your hardwood floor can delight and satisfy for decades to come. If your hardwood floors are looking worn and gray, call Stephanie to make them shine like new.
Before and After:
Refinishing this redwood deck brings out its natural color, and protects it against the rain.
Before: This area of the floor is a high traffic area into the kitchen and was extremly scratched and worn.
After: This high traffic area was sanded and refinished so the scratched and worn areas are undetectable.
Stephanie recommends Bona wood finishes for easy, safe application with beautiful results. The Bona company since 1919 has pioneered the technology of safe, eco-friendly water-based wood finishes, low-VOC oil-based products, and dust-minimizing sanding systems. Unlike other products with toxic fumes, Bona finishes are safe enough to install without a respirator, and will not require you to evacuate your home to wait for harmful gases to clear. Bona products are GREENGUARD certified for low emissions, but they are just as durable as oil-based finishes, and they are put to the test on the wood floors of many NBA and NCAA basketball courts.
Before
After: The carpet above was ripped out and hickory hardwood was installed. The knots were filled with a clear resin, giving the hole depth. Then the floor was sanded and finished with Bona Traffic semi-gloss. The room was complete with new white trim and a new coat of paint on the walls and doors.
In progress
After: The old carpet was ripped out and new oak was installed. The hardwood was then sanded, stained with a natural stain and finished with a waterborne finish.
